David Rattray-Wood of Fairy Hills Ice Cream has been making ice cream for more than 25 years, guided by a simple belief: good ice cream begins with great ingredients.

Since opening shop in Ivanhoe in 2012, David has carefully sourced quality produce and refined every flavour, with the help from his toughest critics, his children. The result is award-winning ice cream and sorbet made for the local community. Set in the leafy suburb of Ivanhoe,  Fairy Hills is a crowd favourite for the locals. As well as ice creams and sorbets, Fairy Hills serves its very own house-made frozen yoghurt and vanilla soft serve ice cream. You can also buy take-home tubs in store and custom made ice cream cakes to order.

Ice cream cakes, made easy. Ours are built with small-batch Fairy Hills ice cream, layered by hand and kept deliberately simple. Perfect for birthdays, last-minute gatherings, or a summer BBQ.
